Quitclaim by Alexander Juyl of Waysshefeld (Devon) to Thomas Werthe, esquire, of his right in all the messuages, etc., in Wayschfeld which ought to descend to him from Cecilia Baker his mother, and confirmation by him to the same of two charters, viz: (1) Inspeximus by Henry Abbe, lord of Wasfeld, [ca. 1290, see Deeds 10] of a charter of William le Abbe, his grandfather, to Robert, son of Robert de Wasfelde [ca. 1270, see Deeds 8]; (2) Grant [1429, May 8] by Cecilia Baker of Wayschfeld, widow, to Thomas Werthe, esquire, of her messuages, etc., in Wayschfeld. Given at Wayschfeld on Sunday next before the feast of Pentecost, 7 Henry VI. Quitclaim [1429, Sept 28] given at Colmpton, Wednesday next before the feast of St. Michael the Archangel, 8 Henry VI.
